Grade 9 and 10 Classes:
BTT 1O: Introduction to Information Technology in Business
This course offers an introduction to software applications commonly used in the business world. Students are introduced to the Microsoft Office Suite, Website analysis and design, and how social media is used in business. This course is taught in a computer lab and operates in a very hands-on manner.
BBI 2O: Introduction to Business
This course provides an introduction to all of the business disciplines. Students will spend the semester studying everything from accounting to marketing. The course consists of a number of group activities and individual cases that will require the student to critically think and make business decisions.

BAF 3M: Introduction to Accounting
This course will introduce students to the world of bookkeeping and accounting. They will learn about the accounting cycle, financial statements and have a basic understanding of how to analyze this data. This course is a great introduction for any student looking at pursuing business at the post-secondary level.
BMI 3C: Introduction to Marketing
In this course students will look at the world of marketing. They will be introduced to the 4 P's of Marketing: Product, Place, Price, and Promotion. The students will also look at marketing strategies implemented globally and the use of various forms of media, for example, online.
BDI 3C: Introduction to Entrepreneurship
This course will introduce students to the process of opening a new venture. The students will look at the skills required to be a successful entrepreneur. They will also create and analyze business plans for small ventures.
BAT 4M: Financial Accounting Principals
This course is a continuation of the grade 11 Accounting. The students will learn about financial statements for various forms of business ownership. They will explore how these statements are interpreted in making business decisions. This course is valuable for any student pursuing business studies at the post-secondary level.

This course introduces students to the importance of international business and trade in the global economy. They will explore the factors that influence success in international markets, learn about the strategies associated with marketing, distribution, and managing international business effectively. This course prepares students for many post-secondary programs in business and the social sciences.
BOH 4M: Business Leadership - Management Fundamentals
In this course students will focus on developing leadership skills using in managing a successful business. Students will explore the role a leader plays in business, focusing on decision making, management of group dynamics, conflict resolution, motivation of employees, and planning. This course prepares students for any post-secondary business program.
IDC 4O: Sport and Entertainment Marketing
This course introduces students to the business side of the sport and entertainment industry. Students will explore how celebrities market themselves, the use of social media, and the role they play in society. This course helps to prepare students for a career in sport management or business studies.
